About the Artist

I’ve dreamed of being an artist my entire life, but like many people, work and family came first. When my children were grown and finding their own paths, I finally returned to mine. I studied at the Art Institute of Seattle, took classes at Pratt Fine Arts Center, and absorbed every free workshop and tutorial I could find. Those years helped me discover my voice as an artist — bold, expressive, and full of movement.

My Artistic Style

I fell in love with palette‑knife painting, thick textures, and vibrant color. I’m drawn to abstracts and expressive realism — pieces you can’t look away from because they make you feel something. Color is my language, and I use it to create energy, emotion, and joy.

How the Coastal Collection Began

In 2020, when the world shifted and Southern California beaches were closing, I felt overwhelmed. Before they shut down, I visited all my favorite spots — the strand, the pier, the quiet stretches of sand. What I saw was movement, color, and a story waiting to be painted. Those moments became my Coastal Collection, a series inspired by nearly empty beaches and beach towns, painted in uplifting, vibrant hues. Creating them was therapeutic, and it set me on the artistic path I’m still on today.

Where My Work Lives Now

Since 2020, I’ve built a body of work that has been shown in galleries, auctioned for meaningful causes, and collected by people across the country. Knowing my art brings color and joy into someone’s home or office is the greatest honor.

Born in Seattle and having lived in London, Montana, and now Los Angeles, her background in travel informs the movement and storytelling in her work.
